ASWAD AYINDE |
Aswad Ayinde a professional video director credited for directing the video of the 1996 hit song ''Killing Me Softly'' by the Fugees, a video that won him an MTV award for best video director back then, behind this creativity was a secret he kept from the world as he has been sexually molesting his kids since the 80s to 2002.Until he was caught, he lived with his family in New Jersey, United States. A father of five children from his wife and three other children from outside wedlock, Mr Ayinde had his wife deliver three of his daughters at home, so they wont have any birth record, this made it easy for him to always threaten his wife to kill the children and dispose their bodies and there would be no trace of their existence. He is alleged to have began raping one of the daughters when she was just eight years old and at age twelve she had a child for him, Quoting his now former wife Mrs Beverly Ayinde she said “He threatened he would kill my children. He would cut them up and put them in different places and I wouldn’t be able to prove anything because I didn’t have a birth certificate for any of them,”
In 2006, one of his daughters who was 19 at that time finally summoned courage and called the police and told them about her house of horror and how she got pregnant by her dad and gave birth at age 15. She told them how she and her two other sisters bore their father a total of six children. Mr Ayinde is already facing forty years imprisonment as he was hit with 27 charges including aggravated sexual assault, sexual assault, lewdness, child endangerment, aggravated criminal sexual contact and criminal sexual contact. This appears to be just the beginning as he is being charged separately for each of the five daughters.
The mind is a terrible thing to waste, and this is the case of this demented and yet talented black man who satisfied his lustful desires with his own children, another wasted mind and with such creativity channeled to evil conducts, it is no wonder why nothing was heard of this man since after winning the MTV award in 1996. I am happy that he got served at the long run unlike some who got away with it and it brings to our thoughts thousands of related cases out there still undiscovered, we can only hope that the forces of good over takes the forces of evil and let the light of freedom shine on the lives of those in bondage so that they too will be free.
